My name is Jeffrey Philippson and I am a medical device and diagnostics professional specialising in point-of-care diagnostics instrumentation. I have a doctorate in experimental physics from Queen's University in Canada.

My present role is System Integration Manager for point-of-care diagnostics company LumiraDx. I lead the Hardware System Integration team, responsible for hardware integration of a flexible point-of-care diagnostics platform, covering existing platform improvements and development of next generation platforms. In addition to leading the Hardware System Integration team, I am System Lead and Product Owner for development of optical subsystems and part of the Instrumentation management team.

My experience covers all areas of medical device and diagnostics technology research and development, with particular expertise in data analysis and statistics, requirements gathering and implementation of design verification programs. I have worked on medical device projects at all stages of development and am experienced working in a regulated MedTech environment under an ISO 13485 quality system.
